    What should glucose levels be?

    The ideal values are:

    * 4 to 7mmol/l before meals.

    * less than 10mmol/l 90 minutes after a meal

    * around 8mmol/l at bedtime.

    my mom has diabetes ( i didn’t spell that right, but you know!!) its all depends on YOU. your height, weight, heredity, what you eat. You really need to talk to your doctor. It varys on so many things.

    normal blood sugar for anyone is 120,if it goes a little higher still not bad,goes over 130 not good,if it goes under 80 its not good

  • Kev:

    Normally, blood glucose levels stay within narrow limits throughout the day: 4 to 8 mmol/l (70 to 150 mg/dl). Levels rise after meals and are usually lowest in the morning, before the first meal of the day.

  • sophiesue412:

    Normal range for any one over the age of 12 is 60-120. American Standard I do not know the levels outside the AS.
    Both men & women should have the same level ranges But maybe you are referring to the calorie count? Men get to have a lot more calories than women do per day.
