What is a normal range for Fasting Blood Sugar for a 1 yr old?
My son just turned 1 and he’s 34 lbs. He was just tested for diabetes and thyroid because of his rapid weight gain. Both results are borderline. I’ve checked different sites and they all say something different. He will be rechecked in 2 weeks.
He is still on formula. He only takes 4-5 bottles a day.
Everyone on both sides of my family has diabetes, except for my sister, her children,myself and my children.

paul_surf is life Is absolutely right.
I hope you haven’t been giving him foods high in carbs to quiet him down. Comforting a child with food pretty much guarantees results like that. Also, feeding them only what is recommended teaches them that there are limits in life, even from Mom.
Same as an adult, under 100.
