How do I make my blood pressure seem normal after fasting?
I have to go to the doctor on Tuesday (mom said so… I didn’t get a choice) and I’ve been doing a celery and water detox thing that I don’t want my doctor to know about. But I’m worried that she’ll check my blood and notice that the sugar level is low… How do I make it seem higher?
What is a normal range for Fasting Blood Sugar for a 1 yr old?
My son just turned 1 and he’s 34 lbs. He was just tested for diabetes and thyroid because of his rapid weight gain. Both results are borderline. I’ve checked different sites and they all say something different. He will be rechecked in 2 weeks.
He is still on formula. He only takes 4-5 bottles a day.
Everyone on both sides of my family has diabetes, except for my sister, her children, myself and my children.
Non-fasting sugar levels same as fasting sugar levels?
I had to drink sugar water before having my blood drawn for glucose test, and my levels were exactly the same as when I was on a 12 hour fast. Not higher.
Does this mean anything?
Is this normal?
Thanks!
103 Blood sugar level? Is that normal without fasting?
I took my sugar about 2 hours after I ate. It was 103. Is that good? Or can it be a sign of diabetes?
I suffer from anxiety and I have severe hypochondria if you can’t tell from my last questions. lol
———————————————————————————————
I had a chicken burrito and diet mt. dew at about 1 pm.
I had 2 white castle burgers and string cheese and two or 3 cheetos around 5 pm or so.
I had my sugar checked around 7:30 pm
Are fasting levels correct…?
I heard people with diabetes can have normal fasting blood sugar levels but very high levels after meals, is this true? Can diabetes not be diagnosed solely on a fasting test?
fasting (10 hours) blood sugar level is119. Is it normal?
It was 109 at 12 hours after eating.
my mother is 64 year, her fasting blood sugar level result is 97?
and she tested again after two hours of eating a meal and the result was 317. is that normal????
fasting blood sugar level 300?
I went to my dr for a screening, my paternal grand mother, my father, 2 of his sisters, my paternal aunts are all diabetic [adult onset in late 40's or later, so I decided to get checked. after not eating after 8:00 P.M. I went to the dr at 8:45 A.M. for the urine test and blood work. After 3 days I called the office [they didn't bother to call me] the nurse said my blood sugar level was 300 and it was perfectly normal. When I told my mother what she said, mom said she was full of sh*t can y’all help out here.
Thanks
thanks to everyone for your answers, I have an appointment with a new Dr and will be following up on this. I requested copies of my file from the old DR and have been advised to file a complaint with the AMA for being given bad medical advice. I did double check with the dr. on a second visit and was told 300 was a perfectly acceptable bs level even on a fast and it was nothing to worry about. the dr. told me I needed no further treatment. !!?
