The Canadian Meters do not read the same as USA meters – Please tell me the numbers in the USA what your blood sugar should be BEFORE EATING and 2 HOURS AFTER EATING.

Canadian figures should be: 5 before and 7 2 hours after

My son just turned 1 and he’s 34 lbs. He was just tested for diabetes and thyroid because of his rapid weight gain. Both results are borderline. I’ve checked different sites and they all say something different. He will be rechecked in 2 weeks.
He is still on formula. He only takes 4-5 bottles a day.
Everyone on both sides of my family has diabetes, except for my sister, her children,myself and my children.

I had always though between 80 and 120 was normal, but if I get below 100 I start feeling dizzy. I am on new meds and it has been up and down, from 50 to 190. I know it shouldn’t be up and down like that.
